ANIPH meets the next generation of scientists

CETEC brings ANIPH to students and children across two outreach events in Spain, turning curiosity into inspiration for future careers in science

ANIPH recently stepped out of the laboratory to meet the scientists of tomorrow, taking part in two outreach events designed to spark curiosity and bring research closer to young minds.

The first encounter took place at a language school in Murcia, where ANIPH’s coordinator, CETEC, introduced the project to students in an engaging and accessible way. Blending language practice with real scientific content, the session created a space where learning felt natural and exciting. The session included an interactive Q&A, where the informal setting encouraged students to ask questions freely and engage with the project’s goals in a natural, curious way.

That first experience laid the foundation for a second event at the Science Fair in Santomera, Murcia. There, the project coordinator joined researchers from various scientific centres to connect with families and children from the local community. Through interactive sessions, the team explained ANIPH’s mission and encouraged children to pursue careers in science. Seeing science up close, and being able to ask real researchers real questions, proved to be a powerful spark for young attendees.

For ANIPH, these encounters are more than outreach activities, they are opportunities to nurture curiosity, strengthen scientific culture, and help plant the seeds for the next generation of innovators.
