ANIPH was presented by our coordinator CETEC at the IX International seminar on biopolymers and sustainable composites, organised by AIMPLAS Plastics Technology Centre in Valencia, Spain, on 4–5 March 2026.

The event brought together companies, research centres, universities and international experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of bioplastics and sustainable materials within the framework of the circular economy.

CETEC presented a poster “Safe and sustainable by design PHBV from waste streams” showcasing its mission alongside our fellow projects VISS and PHANTASTIC, highlighting the shared commitment to innovation in sustainable materials.

Speakers presented recent advances in research, development and innovation, covering topics such as bio-based raw materials, biodegradable materials, certification, industrial applications and regulatory developments affecting the sector.

The seminar has become an important meeting point for the bioplastics community, promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange to accelerate the transition toward more sustainable materials and circular solutions.

The event offered a valuable opportunity for ANIPH to share its progress and strengthen ties with key players in the bioplastics sector, reinforcing the project’s commitment to advancing bio-based and biodegradable solutions.
