ANIPH co‑organises an EU workshop with the ViSS and PHAntastic on safe and sustainable bio‑based polymers
From 8 to 10 April 2026, join us in Lisbon for the 4th edition of Polymers: From Sustainability to Smart Systems!
This international conference brings together leading researchers, innovators, and industry representatives to explore advances in sustainable polymer science, smart materials, and circular innovation.
In this context, ANIPH co‑organises a joint EU workshop with two fellow projects, PHAntastic and ViSS, joining forces to develop safe, sustainable, and circular bio-based polymer solutions.
Titled “Safe and Sustainable Bio‑Based Polymers: From Design to End‑of‑Life in Circular Value Chains”, the session will highlight advances in bio‑based and biodegradable materials developed across European R&I projects, covering design, application and end‑of‑life strategies with a focus on Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) and circular approaches.
This workshop offers an important opportunity to present ANIPH’s contribution to developing safer, more sustainable polymer systems and to showcase solutions such as fully biodegradable PHA‑based materials designed to reduce reliance on conventional plastics and environmental impact.
