ANIPH project presented in Murcia

The Murcia 2025 Bioeconomy Conference brought together researchers, businesses and institutions to explore how agricultural and agri-food by-products can be turned into sustainable solutions.

CETEC, together with Cajamar and other partner associations, hosted the Murcia 2025 Bioeconomy Conference, an event dedicated to exploring the challenges and opportunities of the bioeconomy in the Region of Murcia. At the heart of the discussions was the potential to turn agricultural, livestock, and agri-food waste and by-products into innovative and sustainable solutions.
The conference showcased real-world examples of bioplastics, biofertilizers, biostimulants, by-product recovery, and circular economy strategies, while also highlighting the hurdles that remain: scalability, regulation, costs, and economic viability.
